Rockwoods is looking for a JavaScript / TypeScript developer with experience in a Agile React web development team. This team member represents the technical expertise necessary to develop front-end assets for its client’s websites according to standard practices of development, code structure, application performance capabilities, re-use of code logic, unit tests and maintainability.
As a Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and supporting the delivery of innovative Client platform capabilities and experiences in collaboration with Software Engineering, Leadership and cross-product/cross-channel business partners. The Platform Engineering team applies platform management and technical design and delivery skills to plan and prioritize the work of systems or services used by multiple Guest and/or Team Member product channels.
You will be responsible for monitoring all stages of software development to identify and resolve any issues as well as conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets product business, quality standards as well as functional requirements. Design test processes and procedures used to ensure that software operates within defined requirements. Implement test plans, manual, and validation strategies. Identify and investigate issues found during testing. Work closely with software developers and software quality analysts to resolve issues. Develop and maintain manual test scripts. Entry-Level position within field. Requires little to no experience in discipline. Conducts routine tasks as directed. Closely supervised with little latitude for independent judgment. Typically requires up to three years of relevant experience.
